Novasell
Novasell Ltd. was established in 2016, initially as a trading company selling industrial paints (anti-corrosion and fire protection paints). The company was established to complement the activities of the parent company – M+M Inwestyn – a leading provider of passive fire protection services for steel structures and facilities on the domestic market. In 2018, thanks to the knowledge of the market and its knowledge, the company’s Management Board decided to try to develop its own product solutions in the field of passive fire protection.
Since 2019, the company has been implementing the R&D project entitled „Development of an innovative system for fire protection of steel structures”, which is co-financed by the European Union under the Operational Programme Intelligent Development 2014-2020.
Innovative technology to protect batteries in electric vehicles
The Li-Ion batteries are endangered by so-called thermal runaway process – exothermic reaction of electrolyte leading to cell explosion and propagation to other cells. That results in catastrophic failure of the battery pack and as a consequence fire of the vehicle. The most common reasons for thermal runaway are:
thermal abuse by overheating battery cell,
electrical abuse by overcharging battery cell,
mechanical abuse by puncture of the battery cell.
Novasell has invented a solution preventing battery cell thermal runaway to propagate along the battery by applying innovative composite material. During normal operating conditions composite provides heat dissipation whereas in case of fire it insulates the battery module and provides extra mechanical protection together with self-sealing ability.

Fire safety engineer. He has several years of experience in the implementation of fire protection. An excellent manager and strategist. According to him, constant investment in technological innovations and the ability to adapt to changes and market needs is the key to the company’s success.
Łukasz Radosiński
Head of R&D departament
He has more than 15 years of experience in the design, optimization and functionalization of nanomaterials as well as chemical processesHe obtained his PhD in High Energy Accelerator Research Organization in Tsukuba. He is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and evaluating the company’s technology resources.
Aleksandra Porebska
Formulation specialist
She obtein PhD in chemical science from the Wrocław University of Technology. In our projects selects the components to create the right formula for the final product. She pays attention to the toxic effects of the various elements.
