R&D labolatory

The main goal of research in our laboratory is to enhance the fireproof properties of our product, which is intumescent paint. We strive for this through the use of new formulations and the use of physical effects such as heat reflection in the form of an electromagnetic wave in the near and mid-infrared range (800 nm – 25,000 nm).

The competence of R&D team are divided into six categories relevant : materials and chemical engineering, fire safety engineering, chemical formulation and analysis, design and construction of automotive components, ballistic properties enhancement and numerical simulations.

Particle size analyzer

LS 13 320 XR Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer

Particle Analyzer utilizes laser diffraction and complex mathematical models to analyze size distribution of given sample. Due to application of PIDS technology we may characterize size of particles ranging from 50 nm up to 3.5 mm.

Small fire furnace

PN-EN 13381:8 simplified test

The 5,3 cubic meter furnace is used to test the performance of the coating using up to 1 m length profiles.

Full scale fire furnace

PN-EN 13381:8 complete test

The equipment is capable of conducting fully normalized tests for assessment of fire performance of intumescent coating according to PN-EN 13363 and PN-EN 13381:8 norms using over 4 m beams and 3 m pillars.

Graco XM PFP unit

The Graco XM® PFP sprayer is designed to apply intumescent epoxy flame retardant coatings, the only complete system that is ATEX and IECEx certified for use in explosive environments; suitable for use in both electrical installations and mechanical structures.

Salt spray gabinet

Salt spray test chamber is used to test the anti-corrosion quality of all the materials surfaces of painting, coating, electroplating in condition of salt spray environment. The equipment enables to perform accelerated corrosion tests according to ISO9227.

Xenone test chaber

XENTEST 2200

It used for the study of weathering and accelerated aging testing by closely emulating true environmental conditions.

Four dissolver type mixers are capable of preparing coating of given formulation up to 800 l volume each.
